Snap Creative was a fourth-year collaborative project during which students were paired with a partner to create their own design firm and come up with a target audience. As a team, my partner Alexia Cortez and I aimed to design for the nightlife and liquor industries, as can be displayed by our choice in color scheme, reminiscent of neon signs in night clubs as well as bars. For our company, we created a stationery system, which throughout, keeps a die-cut of a bottle on the side of each item. In addition, we kept this same theme going in our brochure, for which we also opted for a more non-traditional way of opening, and the navigation bar of our website. As a client giveaway, we chose to stamp our logo onto flasks to further express the industry we have gone into. However, as all good designers do, we were given the opportunity to collaborate with a client outside of our target audience, JAY Marketing, a group of business students who needed graphic designers to advertise their marketing plan on The Raiders' recent move to Las Vegas. All photography used in the making of this project is sourced from the internet. The final outputs were both digital as well as physical comps.
