"U: Suicide Awareness & Prevention" is a motion graphic project utilizing solely typography as a tool to convey a message. The typeface used is Avenir, which in French signifies "Future" and is a clever visual pun with the idea of giving people information about suicide, and preventing it furthermore in the future by giving people a future to look forward to. The color black is used a lot to represent despair, but it is interlaced with bright colors to demonstrate hope and happiness. The video was created on Adobe After Effects, using 32 frames which themselves were made using Adobe Illustrator. The song "Love Yourz" (Instrumental) by J. Cole is featured in this short film.
